Artist profile

Born in Wales, I grew up in Italy and studied at the Istituto d'Arte Piero Della Francesca in Arezzo, where I obtained a diploma in applied arts. Specialising in jewellery production, I then went on to vocational training in jewellery making, which led me to work for various jewellery factories in the city of Arezzo, Tuscany.

By working on production and working as a model maker, I slowly gained experience and knowledge of the trade. In 2001 I started to work as a designer, collaborating with Cesare del Brenna creating the fashion collection for Masini Gioielli (197FI).

While working for numerous other companies in Firenze, I gained knowledge of fashion design and industrial production techniques.

In 2003 I moved to London and started working for jeweller Alan Vallis, where I began to appreciate the value of small productions and one off pieces.

I now have my own company, personally designing, creating, producing and promoting Gallie Jewels.
